Barley ( hordeum vulgare ) is the second most used cereal in the world after wheat.
Used for thousands of years by man for his own food and livestock.
The pearling is a process by which the external part of the kernels (bran) is removed through the use of adequately calibrated pressures and temperatures (refining).
